15. Press 5, then ENT to select “ADVANCED”.

The Advanced TCP/IP Config menu will display.












16. Press 2, then ENT to select “LEN FORMAT”, and enter the value FROM THE
PARAMETER SHEET, then press ENT.

17. Press 1, then ENT to select “LEN SIZE”, and enter the value FROM THE PARAMETER
SHEET, then press ENT.

18. Press 3, then ENT to select “LEN ADJUST”, and enter the value FROM THE
PARAMETER SHEET, then press ENT.

19. Press 4, then ENT to select “LEN OFFSET”, and enter the value FROM THE
PARAMETER SHEET, then press ENT.

20. Press CNL.

21. Press 10, then ENT (Print Configuration).

22. Press CNL two times.

Restart Required screen displays.

23. Press ENTER to restart the ATM. DO NOT press CANCEL to skip this reboot. DO NOT
press “Reset” or power off/on to restart the ATM.

NOTE: This step is required in order to configure Windows XP network configuration for
Local IP, Gateway and Subnet.

After the reboot, you should display or print the ATM’s IP configuration. If the Local IP,
Gateway or Subnet are blank or zeros, then either the LAN cable is unplugged or you
entered invalid data for one or more of the addresses.



24. Go to back to Step # 43 of the System Set Up instructions.

A.5 Dial Up Communications Configuration

Dialup communications require you to load two XML files onto the ATM using the Dialup
Config Supervisor function. In addition, you need configure the COM port for dialup.

The Dialup XML files are provided by the network. You should have received these files along
with your parameter worksheet, or they could be located at the customer site.

NOTE: there are two XML files needed to configure Dialup – one for Dialup Configuration and
one for Application Settings. These instructions assume both files are on one disk.

To load the Dialup XML files:

1. Insert the Dialup XML file disk into the flex disk drive of the ATM.

2. Press 99 – More, and then press ENT.

3. Press 38 – Dialup Config, and then press ENT.

4. Press 6 – Copy On/Off , and then press ENT.

5. Press 1 – Copy On , and then press ENT.
The Dialup Configuration file will be copied from the flex disk to the ATM and then the
message FILE COPIED displays.

6. Press 6 – Copy On/Off , and then press ENT.

7. Press 3 – Copy On , and then press ENT.
The Application Settings file will be copied from the flex disk to the ATM and then the
message FILE COPIED displays.

8. Press 7 – Diagnostics , and then press ENT.
The message Accessing Comms Service displays and then the Modem Diagnostics Menu
displays.

9. Press 5 – Configure Com Port . DO NOT press ENT.
The message Currently Configured Com Port: Com X displays.

10. Press ENT to configure the COM port.
The message Select Modem to Configure displays with a list of the currently installed
modems.

11. Press the number of the modem you are configuring, and then press ENT.
The message Configure With This Modem? Modem Name: XXXXX COM Port: COM X
displays for confirmation.

12. Press ENT to configure the modem.

13. Press CNL three times.
The following messages display:
Restart Required – Comms Updated
Press Enter to restart ATM
Press Cancel to restart Later

14. Press ENT to restart the ATM. DO NOT press CANCEL to skip this reboot. DO NOT
press “Reset” or power off/on to restart the ATM.



15. Go to back to Step # 43 of the System Set Up instructions.
